UPDATE of a older thread.

The RTS is finally finished!

I think the level of red isn't too over the top, but I'll see what the comments are.

I took the comments on board regarding the drivetrain, so I have added a red anodized outer ring and also a red jockey wheel.

30/7 = New forks

Yeah, looks good....not sure about the anodized bottle cage though.

This colour co-ordination is a nightmare isn't it :?

Hmm, think your right. I rarely carry a bottle, only on really long rides, so mostly use the Camelback. I think it'll have to go.

Colour matching is a real nightmare!

that's a massive improvement over the RST381's, and just the right level of redness imo.

i have a lot of love for GT's from this era. an ink blue 1996 LTS is second only to a mountain cycle san andreas in my old-school-FS list of love, though a polished RTS is well up there..

Looking at it now I regret doing the 381's.....just wish I hadn't sold the original Quadras :(

Looking good......

I think if you fitted a silver stem that would finish it off perfectly. 8)

Yes.....I know!

I'm still toying with the idea of loosing the bottle cage and stubbies, to get rid of the anodized stuff, and stick with painted red....... :?

I dont know.......

I've just got to stop fiddling!
