Of course you did, it was just sitting there at a local bike shop for 60 Euros in a clearance sale...

Good score!! Like to know the story behind finding that! It'll look great on the Colonago frame.

my friend runs the StalenRos bike show, and i bought it off him.
the group was mounted previously on an Nos Gazelle hybrid that (ahem) had been lying around , unsold and unused

the derailuer cage i found on ebay, as with the Euclid toe cages

I really like Colnago frames, both road and MTB and I always think they should be built up with Campag groupsets. It's that 'Italian style' thing.
Or is it just me? Very nice road bikes in your link too 8)

Of course. Just take a look in the gear for sale threads, vintage Deore XT is very desirable. Not as pretty a *most* of the Campag stuff, but excellent very well performing stuff

- If I were you I'd keep it all, if it is in good order

Regarding your NOS haul: Your build looks like it is going to be super nice, the NOS Olympus is gorgeous. But I have to say those Euclid toe clips are astonishingly ugly
