Been there, done that!
We need more love for early Marin's on here. I used to ride a 1993 Marin Pine Mountain, but I kept hearing about how much better Kona Explosives were, so bought one of those instead and to be honest all its done is make me realise just how good the Marin was as its very nearly as good.
I think people tend to forget that Mr Ritchey had a hand in these early ones!
1998 Kona 853 Explosif, 1999 NOS Kona 853 Explosif, 1999 NOS Lynskey signed Litespeed Obed Ti, 1999 Marin Mount Vision (custom), Cannondale Bad Boy 700c Disc (everyday hack) and a 1993 Marin for the Wife. Latest build in progress is a 1993 Marin Eldridge Grade with original paint.
"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever."
