Here's my '87 Mountain Goat WTR I restored awhile back. The paint was done by Russ Picket who painted the Goats back in the day. Standard build for '87, all Shimano XT M730 drivetrain, ANO RM20 rims, Suntour XC seatpost, Turbo seat, Suntour rollercam rear brake, IRC Racer X tires. Pretty much all NOS. This was the last year for twin seatstays, '88's and later had monostay. Enjoy :D

Subtly one of your best builds and bikes.

Understated and classy.

Maximum respect! Almost too good to ride - but not quite, I hope!

Russ Picket rocks!

My GOAT is at the paintshop at mo and ive done, strangely enough, a similar straight forward paint scheme :D
