Finished pictures will likely be in the next couple of weeks. I'm waiting on the arrival of a new seat post(same, just longer) and a new pair of amber wall tires.

I can't wait to ride it with the seat at the right height!

Congrats for your work, you got gold in your hands. I'm not affraid any more to buy a Manitou. And I agree with your theory about the boring of their headtubes before welding. That sounds fairly logical to me.
