Yep, same colour scheme. Didn't like the alternative green so much.

The gear changers don't look original though - Original was Deore, not Deore XT.

.....its gotta be foam grips on that one mate surely? ETC do some that are very close to period (ebay).

If anyone needs decals I'm in for at least 2 sets it that helps for an order. I have an 89 I bought new.

All done now,

Got the decals thrusday and finished building it up on the weekend.
Just about reused all parts. New chain, and cables of course.
Need to get a decent saddle, probably get a turbo saddle.

And yes the grips.....I know

Need to get a better looking seat post clamp and maybe when some original pedals when some come up or something similar.

Just need to do some final adjustments then when it's not so damn cold take it for a ride through the woods

Ha! Cracking job!

Glad you know about the grips... I think the pedals are alright I'd maybe spray the cages matt black

Also glad you ain't going with that saddle, I agree a Turbo would look the business on that - Black or white would work equally well (in my humble, of course)

Really great job done there!
