Thanks Steve. I am taking it out on a trial ride this afternoon. This is definitely a rider.

A mate of mine had one he used to ride as part of our group in 91ish. Oh how we laughed at the long headtube, not knowing how special the frame really was.. :oops: :oops:

He couldn't deal with the peer-pressure so bought himself a brand new 92MY Klein Attitude Frame.. :shock:

I seem to remember his 'Dale was 1" headset.. is this the same? (sorry typing as I think, so not read the opening thread fully) :oops:

No, it is a looooooong 1 1/4" :) My '91 SE2000 is a 1"

Michael, this turned out great! I've been collecting parts for my next Grove project and I'm heading down the same path with the black theme. 8)
