This Cape Wrath is box fresh. I don't think it has ever turned a wheel.

Came out of Mike Cookson Cycles in Oldham in December 1990, as you see it here. Complete with, still functioning BLT lights.

The first time I saw this model was at the Malvern Hills classic BITD, Falcon/Claud Butler arrived at the race event, with a double decker London bus Converted top and bottom, carrying the whole range of bikes for everybody to see. From memory this was there flagship model

It was at the time, strange that they didn't sell an XT equipped model like most other manufacturers. Although they did correct that a couple of years later.
