I recently bought a 855 (after selling my 856 some time ago ). Bought it for €50 with LX V-brakes, LX rear mech, XT front mech, XT lever/shifter combo and XTR (M900) crank! Very pleased with that.. It got a new coil spring for the rear, but nothing for the Vector2. Luckily I had some Land Rover bushes, so I can start building it....

Here are the pics!

Damn, another one?
I don't got time looking at other users bikes :D
Where did you get the Land Rover bushes (or do you mean elastomers?) from?
I have a 752 that needs some.

Nice bike, I fancied one BITD but would never have been able to afford one... thanks again for the Land Rover bush tip!

If I get a moment sometime I'll have to dig out the polybush kit we have in the garage which I'm sure is a Disco shock bush kit and see if I can figure out how the Vector II comes apart... as nobody in the family has a Discovery it's not likely to be used for anything else!
