1995 Whiskey Town Racer XS

Found this Goat at a flea market for my 9 year old son. It is a 1995 WTR 12 inch frame in factory red. The components are not that great but it fits him perfect and he loves to ride.

It's interesting that it has no canti bridge, as the bikes in the 1995 catalogue do and that is thought (including by Jeff Archer I believe) to show the final range of Mountain Goat. It must be a very late example of the breed. Do you have the serial number?

Being so small it may have had to have a seat clamp mounted one due to space issues....

S/N MG50127. Here is what it has for rear cable guide. I saw a picture somewhere of another small frame of different manufacturer with cantilever brakes using this same setup, but i can't seem to find it again.
