Ibis

New project, still putting together the history of this one but from what I know so far its a 86-88 American made Ibis. The relatively short top tube is tempting me with a drop bar build and I have some Specialized flared drops that would be ideal. The rest I'm thinking Koski U brake forks( or realistically any period U brake fork) roller cams, Suntour shifting and a possibly some Phil wheels. Not a cheap project then but I'm in no hurry :D

Anyway some frame details, already quite taken by it and the powder job is of a very high quality too so its staying black with maybe a bronze headtube badge and bronze decals. More braze ons than you can shake a stick at.

You can see twin bottle mounts on the top side of the down tube, there are also another on the underside. The seattube has one and on the underside of the top tube theres a mount for a portage strap.

Subtle faux lugs detail on the head tube
