Just thought I'd share this Zaskar I've been restoring for a buddy of mine. It's finally coming together and looking like a real bike. Hope to have it finished up before the weekend.
I hand sanded and polished the frame over the past two months, quite a bit of fun =) The fork came from the UK just a couple days ago and an XT II U-Brake will be on it's way shortly. I may also throw on a nice Answer Atac stem, but we're trying to keep this bike under $400-500 so that may put it over the edge.
We were going for a sort of industrial monochrome look and I think it worked out pretty well.
