Seeing as I'll probably ride this tomorrow at the South Downs 'mini-meet' (with only 23 confirmed riders so far) I thought I may as well unveil it to the masses!

I've been gathering parts for what seems an age since good old (?) Uncle 'Al' furnished me with the frame in the summer.

I wanted to keep the build period for the year, '93/94 but my main objective was that it would have NO Shimano parts*.

Spec:

Frame: Roberts D.O.G.S.B.O.L.X 1993 19"
Fork: As above - original
Headset: Dia-Comp 1"
Stem: Ringle 130mm, zero rise
Handlebar: Italmanubri 170gr alloy
BarEnds: X-Lite Pro's (courtesy of Uncle Ed - not the one from Adams family though)
Grips: Yeti Speed Grips
Brakes: Campagnolo Record OR canti's (replaced LX in picture)
Cantilever cable hangers: Ringle Mojo's silver/red
Brake Levers: Campagn olo Record OR (replace XC-Pro in picture)
Shifters: Suntour XC-Pro 7 spd
Front Derailleur: Suntour XC-Pro
Rear Derailleur: Suntour XC-Pro
Cassette: 12-28 7spd Sachs freewheel
Chain: 7 spd Sachs-Sedis black
Cranks: Suntour XC Pro MD
Chainrings: Suntour XC-Pro 20/32/42
Bottom Bracket: Cook Bros
Pedals: Ritchey Clipless
Quick Releases: No name alloy (for now)
Rims: Matrix Mt Aero
Hubs: Bullseye F&R (black)
Tyres: Ritchey Z-Max Red (1.9 front & 1.7 rear)
Saddle: Turbo white
Seatpost: Suntour XC-Pro
Weight: Fecking light!

I'll get some more pictures posted soon - hopefully dirty too afte rthe ride.

*i put LX canti's on as I was getting impatient to try it out!
