Pretty sure it will have been built in Taiwan. Think all early 90's Marin were except the Team Ti.

yep, im sure continental europe had other models issued there, in different colour schemes too. we got zolatone for 1990-1992.

for example we never saw the 'bullfrog' or 'zig-zag' trail commercially.

BITD I didn't like bike's with more than one colour on it. But this is very nice!

I found some time to inspect the Marin and remove the reflector and lock. I still am amazed that the bike is completely original. From tires to pedals, from saddle to grips and from brakepads to seatpost! Off course it has some scratches and some decals are slightly scratched, but it's in fantastic condition. It came with a Cateye computer. The battery is empty so I have to replace it. Perhaps I can see how many km it has been driven...

Here are some pics of it. The sun is gone and it's very difficult to capture the neon green of the bike. It's a real headturner in real! Believe me!
