Recently acquired this as a frame, forks and u brake from ringo, cheers mate ;)
I've wanted one since my mate bought one in about 1993 lightly used.
Its got a few nicks and scrapes, as you would expect, but the paint does a great job of hiding them.
Only fiddle so far has been removing the stubborn BB which was eventually persuaded out with an air ratchet :D :D
Just thrown a few parts at it to get an idea what i want to do with it.
What do you think folks?? :D

I think you might want to adjust the position of that right front brake pad. And connect the gear cables.

Joking aside, Looking good so far. I'd suggest keeping it simple. High-end trick parts wouldn't be noticed because the paintjob attracts most of the attention.

I'm liking it, may I suggest as many black parts as possible (seat post etc) . Black should make that funky frame colour pop out nicely

Looking good GG, agree with the "lots of black" comment

Bit of autosol should bling that U'brake up!! :D :D

very nice! my suggestions, fwiw: xt or dx cranks of that era and a flip flop quill stem if you can find one.

very nice mike
got a tequila sunrise one in the shed , sort of inspired to build it now

+1 on the black bits ,try e-bay for a seat post someone was selling
new post modern ones for £8 or so in a range of sizes

love these gt's , the best years imo
