A few of you will have noticed this on the eBay watch on here... Well I was the lucky one who was in Pole Position when the hammer dropped.

I know other members were gutted they missed out... All I can say is sorry and hope that in time you guys will get as lucky as me.

This is Dekerf (Dek245) in classic metallic green. she is a real piece of art in my eyes... I hope you all agree.

Spec is a little eclectic and in time will be altered to reflect the quality of the frame. I've already got a gold Pace +130 bar lined up and a gold USE post.

The paint is nigh on immaculate, the fork was sprayed at the the time the bike was built back in 94 but doesn't quite match. I want to keep the bike rigid, what do you guys think on fork option? The easiest option is to retain the existing fork and get it sprayed up to match the frame exactly... Anyone know the paint code for Dekerf green!

The guy who sold it me was a really nice chap and was just glad it was going to a good home... one funny thing he did say was that since the auction had ended - he had starting locking the shed the bike was kept in...

Anyway here's the pics - any comments more than welcome!

loving this- looks good as is, but if you are going to spray the forks why not go for a contrast black or summit as I recon getting a match for the green might be hard?

signing in for updates on this one, absolutley stunning frame and colour, i so want a dekerf.

never one to be critical, because its such a lovely frame im going to be on this occassion.

to my mind i think ditch everything but the frame, start from scratch and go all boutique on her ass, saddle is good too though and i think green gold and red is very christmassy and would work well

forks do her no favours, you need something like this, sorry best picture i could find to show what i mean,

really nice frame  +1 for the black fork, maybe your threated black p2 if you own it yet. will you keep it with those components ?

start from scratch and go all boutique on her ass

That is a contender for Retrobike quote of the year!!

Couldn't have put it better myself... this is defo the plan but will take time...

I want to get to a light period build with some real nice CNC'd anodised kit...

Definitely easier to spray the existing fork black and ride it, while you save up the dollars for a De Kerf tuning fork!

Luvly!
There's a lot of colour clashing going on though...
How many shades of red?
Try the forks though; they might be OK. Try others as the opportunity arises.
Don't get too carried away with the bling; this is a bike for riding!

I'd go for a colour-matched Mag 21 - any automotive paint specialist could mix you up the correct colour using their spectrascope...
