So this is the one and only mtb I have had, since 1993, and I gave it a lot of different life !

First of all, this is the official picture from the 1987 catalog :

Mine is 22" wide.

In the early begining, I've put lot of pink accessories, so eighties !

But in 1995, I've spent all my summer polishing my frame, and intalling new components, like Suntour 9002 fork, Shimano STX group, etc..

In 1996, introducing old Magura hydrolic brakes, and carbon components..

In 1997, Shimano XTR insteed of STX, and SPD pedals..

...and a vintage Tioga Tension-Disk for the rear wheel !

Last year I put 26x2.00 pure slick tires...

...and this year, I decide to give it another life !

New front wheel (Grimeca magnesium) :

I have refresh my Tension-disk thanks to 3D Thermo Carbon film :

And today I have reveive my new tires : Street Hog 26 x 2.35, grey white wall :

This is not the end !
I am working on a Girvin Vector fork, that I will turn into double-T rigid fork, with home-made CNC bridge..

And this virtual picture is here to show you my final project...

Hi Mofofo, and welcome to the forum :) Nice bike, and I like the pics from the different incarnations. I personally like the 1997 best.

Cool bike. I don't normally venture out of the road forum but your avatar caught my eye. Glad I looked now!

No offence.... but you've ruined that Tioga Disk Drive.

No soucy : the blue color of this Sugino Disc Drive didn't match with the bike, but this covering is easily removable.
