Hi All,

This is my first post here, just thought I would pop a picture of my Raleigh Maverick. I bought it a couple of weeks ago from my neighbour for £20 and have been riding it to work (approximately 27 mile round trip) each day!

My first mountain bike back in 1987. I rode miles on it. Not a bad bike, in fact i loved it, but my next bike had index gears which made these seem a bit clunky - could never get the hang of trimming them with that long cage mech.
Very comfortable ride and yours looks in good condition. I would love to ride one again.

Tidy, bargain at £20, very similar to my Raleigh Metropolitan from the Town and Country range, currently here with the mud guards removed.
