Every once in a while, you snap up a Bike that doesn't need restoring, so much as rescuing..

Big Thanks for Ash for helping logistically, I'm not sure this would have happened otherwise! Anyways, out of the box, it came; dirty, on the edge of rusty and looking gloomily into the precipice of total neglect.. Then it saw the light.. And two hands willing it upward.. Into the warm West London abode of its Restorer..

Image

It needs some work, after a complete strip down and thorough cleaning of course..

And the paint needs sprucing.. This will not get a respray through, just considerate restoration..

And then it can join its Brethren in the Sun..

89/90 was a great year for Saracen, GT and Muddyfox good looking bikes from all 3 manufacturers, can't decide which one of those 3 I like the best, the green kili for its fillet brazing, the trekker for its chunkiness and double u's or this kili for being in your face pink.

Very good. These frames come up really well with a bit of elbow grease, don't they. 8)
