Managed to get hold of perfect (for me) size 18" Zaskar frame after regretting the sale of my last 2...

So I'm starting this as a bit of a history trip, to maintain provenance as most of the evidence this is a genuine Zasky will be covered by paint or powder in the coming weeks/months...

Plans include very early 90's graphics and a set-up for a hack bike that I can use and abuse to within an inch of my abilities..

1997?

you wanna do this then:

Funny how your later 97 has integrated seatpost clamp, as my earlier one doesnt. And yours has no guide for cantis on the seatpost either.

Anyway, that'll turn up nice I am sure. Going to polish it a bit first?

I'm gonna give 'V's a proper good going... ;)

nope, no polish, just paint or powder. Either way the identity of the frame may well disappear forever, hence this thread... ;)

that could actually be a 1998 one, as I have a 1999 LTS built in August 1998.

Still a lovely frame tho

Hi,

Wana Follow this Build ;)

I would really would love to know the reason of this integrated Seatpost Clamp because I have the same frame with same clamp and never seen any info about it.

welcome along, fella.

erm, the seatpost clamp I have no idea about...

only that it'll save me a few ££ not having to search for a seperate one in the correct dia...
