Last september this bike got stolen but found back on internet when it was offered for sale.
It used to be the bike that mn ex-GF used for offroad riding.

When I got the bike back it was still in a great shape, only the decals were removed.
Next week the decals will be applied again and it will look like it used to do.

Because i sold most of my bikes, before it got stolen this was the bike that i wanted to keep, i am now going to use this bike as my main rider.
And therfore i will make some adjustments in the build because i do not like suspension myself and want to use parts that won't fail on me when i use it.

the bike looks like this now :

It will be mix of new and retro parts

Bas, must be like having a old friend back.

You are lucky in a way to find it.

I've had a few bikes teethed and never seen them again.

Love the details on the frame, I'm sure you will do an excelent job with the build.

:D

Thanks Mate :)

was indeed like catching up with an old friend

This bike was my favorite and best riding bike i have ever owned so enormously happy that it is back

will do my best to build this one with respect and eye for detail.
It is going to be totally different then i have done in the past, would love to ride this bike with the look and feel of an tasteful retrobike but with the liability of a modern bike

made the first changes to the bike.
Applied the new Decalas

Waiting for the new fork, stem, and Bars

Next week i will receive the cranks and seat post
and to day the new thumbies will arrive,....

Still looking for a red Ringle seat post clamp (34mm)

Congratulations Bas, nice to know this frame again belongs to somebody who appreciates it. Look forward to see the result.
