Finally got round to building the Rasta Kona Hot that I bought off Vegas Bicycle legend Mr Zero earlier this year. Just been for a quick ride and its ace! Wanted one of these for years!

Hot frame, P2's, Crossrides, Singlespeed etc etc.

Excellent. Looks like 1997 decals, and it has the rear mech cable routed under the bb and the front along the top tube, so that's consistent with it being a 97 frame. Although that's not the standard 97 colour scheme, the catalogue says the paint was 'custom', so maybe you used to be able to get the Hot in custom colours from Kona? So it could be a works paint job, not a respray?

Thanks for the comments guys.

As far as I know its a 97 and the paint is original and it doesnt appear to have been resprayed. What were the standard colours for a Hot 1997?
