So after much discussion with the most helpful seller on ebay we finally found a way to get this absolute beauty of a new old stock 1995 kona hot tet to my house without paying hundereds in postage/customs charges. It was shipped out a week last friday and arrived at my door 09.38 this morning. To say I'm chuffed with this is an understatment- its awesome!

I think I'm going to have my first retrobike poll............to ride or not to ride?

Should this stay nos forever, or be ridden like a dog?

I will be doing a build pic etc but its too hot in the garden this evening plus I need a cable set.

Here's a few pics of the frame to keep you going

O M G  how cool is that, I'm really impressed & jealous ;)
Looking forward seeing it build, but agree: to drive or not to drive ?

Well I haven't posted for ages & ages but this has got my juices flowing  That is one extremely cool frame matey & you're a lucky s*d! Good luck with the build. Well worth keeping tabs on :D

That is lovely. Whether to ride or not is a nice dilema to have :) If it was mine I'd probably ride it, but carefully

That's an incredibly nice colour combo - sweet! But wherther to ride it or not, is not an easy question to answer..

just pm'd you..oops just "splashed" the keyboards  ..nice one bud

Ernie ;)

That is ******* Hot!

What's the secret on the customs charges?

My take would be ride it - but not near any rocks!

Thanks for all the positive comments as for the customs charge, the seller in the us was ultra helpful and worked out a way to insure at the full $959 value yet somehow declare the customs value at $50usd

I think I may well have to ride this as I'm already itching for a blast! :D
