Not too retro, or even pedal powered...

Thought I'd share two other projects myself and two friends have been working on.

Both are custom choppers, all hand made parts...english wheel, bead bags and shaping mallets, and a very retro attitude!

Very fun fabrication...metal work from me, paint from Ben, and mechanics from Alex.

Enjoy,

rody

Very nice!

I see only 1 problem. Soon you will have 2 finished, but you are with 3 people. Will you toss? Good luck Rody

those are way cool... :) how long does it take to knock somethong like that together? and do you spend a lot of time with plans, or let the chi guide you?

Melvin,

No worries, my riding will continue to be pedal powered, no aspirations of owning one myself...

Matt,

It takes about 6 months to fabricate one of these. Everything is handmade; frame, tank, fenders, bars, controls, etc... We start out with a basic design and let the groove work it's self out, kind of feeling the way on the sculpted bits.

It's fun, but not an area where alot of my personal interest lies.

cheers,

rody

Very cool Rody. Do you guys work like those chaps on 'American Chopper' ?

No, we actually make our shit rather than buy someone else's and then put on a little gingerbread.

The jokes on me though, cause I'm not the one making millions

forever to be poor and destitute,

rody
