I would like to introduce you mine Univega. I bought it last year. Bike was in medium condition. This is the photo after first cleaning, with RS Mag 21 installed (There was stiff fork in stock).

Look wild :cool: I think Giant supplied the frame to Univega. There is a lot resemblance with the Cadex of yesteryear.
 
I don't remember well Mel, but Stan was talking something about... Miytata production of those frames?
But I could be wrong - it was while ago... He'll have to explain it ;)
 
What about frame?
I really don't know where was it made (i thought, that they made it with cooperation Miyata). My Uni it's similar to cadex but thre are some difrences (FD shifting cables montage, profiled head ) I think that we should ask some Cadex history experts.

New Cranks? Current are more practical (it's easier to buy new chain rings, it's microdrive). I'm going to start on this bike in few marathons. Don't worry! I have moved Old one i to another bike (my brother's Wheller 5800).
