Having been inspired by Andreas' Haro Team Extreme, I purchased this from eBay. I have seen this bike listing come up about 10 times and I finally pulled the trigger. After seeing the glory that is the Haro Team Extreme, I realized how much i missed the 80's/90's.

I am going to keep it as close to original as I can. I have some of XT cranks that will complete the bike, so not much of a build.

**I had to change the skewers. I hate XT skewers.

Amazing collection! I can't wait to get a pair of day-glow Oakleys from eBay and cruise down main street.

I put it together today at lunch and took it for a ride. It has a unique ride to say the least. The word 'pogo' came to mind. Not bad though. the Flex Stem was hilarious. I wouldn't call it suspension, more like it took the edge off of bumps.

It still isn't done, I still need to tweak the brakes and replace the cable and trim the housing.

I will post final pictures tomorrow or Friday.

I love this bike !
You just need the ritchey crank, missing on the picture.
But totally original !

You need to tighten the rear spring too. I agree.

Yes, I forgot it was a Ritchey crank. Damn! If only I could be happy with a XT crank...

Here are some pictures I took today.

I had to change the skewers. I couldn't look at the default XT skewers anymore. They are just so ugly IMO. I also think I am going to leave the XT cranks. I like the look of them better than the Ritcheys.
