Hello!

First of all I like to thank Ian for his support and the very cheap frameset. I owe you a second bottle of "Kernöl"...

I've used a complete Shimano 732/735 group, but the suntour powerrings for the crankset (they have to be black...) and the ritchey cantilevers.

So, here are the pictures from the beginning to the end:

Best wishes from austria, stoppi :)

That's nice....the pink extremes look nice - looks really clean - did you use all NOS components?

Very nice. I always loved that paint job.

I would love to upgrade mine to XT 7speed, but the retro nag in me won't let me. Does that make sense?

Ad muppetman:

NOS, are you kidding. There's not a single NOS-part and I'm not looking after them. Used parts have a different aura and they're telling a story (no, I'm not schizophrenic yet  )

Ad ez054098 (more complicated name than R2D2...):

Why do you want to upgrade? The three gangs you add aren't so important, so I wouldn't change "the winning team"...

Actually, it is Artoo-Detoo ;)

Upgrade for the smoother shifting.

It's a nice bike, but I do not like the yellow grips and Flite.
I think that all black staff would emphasize the frame.

Seconded!

Really a nice frame and paintjob! I envy you, Stoppi! :D
