Rather than completely wear out lots of retro rarities I thought I'd build something reasonably retro to commute on.

Chris40 wanted a road bike, I liked his swappsie bike, so a quick trip up the A1 last week resulted in this:

yeah.... i like it too lg...... not immediately sure why but i do!....probably the red cables, but then i am fickle and shallow....... ;)

Really sorry about the wheels :oops:

I honestly hadnt noticed any problems with them apart from the front needing trueing slightly :oops:

I believe the technical term is 'shagged'

Dont worry about it, it just adds to the fun of building 'stuff'. :cool:
 
I love these gt frames. Did you build this instead of your incoming zaskar?

I had a 97 gt backwoods and will soon be building a 97 zaskar - nice to see a different model!

Good weight that too.
 
I like it, I too have a GT with LX 570 stuff on it.
My 16" Zaskar, I really need an 18".
And some suss forks, Judy XC maybe ;)
