I'd powdercoat the flip flop at the same time. I was going to do the same (on a non-gt) think it would look really tidy together.

I read that & instinctively wondered why you'd powder-coat a brand new stem, but the more I think about it the more it makes sense to match the colour with the fork - so thanks for the tip :D

Opinions please:

Do I use silver M231s, black anodised Araya CV-7s or hold out (seemingly forever) for some good condition M231 or M261 CDs?

Mine isn't going to look much like Vern's - I just hope that won't make it "wrong" :D
