Picked this up today.... for a relative song! :D

Pretty original and just needing some light TLC.

Any idea what year, I'm thinking circa '94

You are right!

Frame is from 1996 catalogue.

I had the same frame, beautiful colour, but sadly cracked in 1997-8 :( , and the spanish distributor gave me a 1994 Lava Dome frame in a nice emerald green :)
 
Weather's been lousy so I've yet to have a proper pre-strip down spin on the bike.

Was thinking of single-speeding it for entry to the World Single Speed MTB contest being held over here in a couple of months time.
