This was always one of the bikes on my most wanted list and its taken me

this long to get one. Ive used mostly parts from my stockpile of old bits

and this is how it turned out. Quite a lot of XT m730 bits and im hoping to

change the brake levers to m-732 and the brakes to something a little

better. The tyres ive used are for riding! I have garage queen tyres but

not for hacking about on

Hope you like it  It rides briliantly.

Nice bike, always a favourite of mine as well. Think the tyres look a bit heavy on it though

Ive got some NOS rubber for it including a Kevlar Ground control and a

Smoke light, both amberwalls. Im using it for a 70 mile charity ride

tomorrow so im using the modern rubber

Very nice. Bontrager: too racy for my riding, but apart from that a bike I absolutely have a weak spot for. Enjoy

Yes, it is a pretty agile little bike, racey! But somehow unique in how it handles. Just glad its got a 120mm stem fitted and not the period 150mm

Wow, what a nice Bonty!
I think the tires are perfect for the trails :)

I don´t want to upset you in anyway, but i actually think you have an original Off-Road. Really cool bike.
Take a look at the link below.

That's really sweet Joe and although I understand your tyre choice pictured I'd love to see it with some amberwalls, even if only for a photo.

And cool link Jan!

Very nice! I like that quite a bit. Hope it's not an endo-machine! ;)
