1995 Bontrager Race

Dirt Disciple
I've had this one since new, back when Global Fridge were importing the Bonty frames. The eagle eyed amongst you will know that the colour is not original and the cranks are not exactly in keeping. A few years ago it went in to Argos for a bare metal respray and I had always loved the Yeti turquoise, so picked a RAL colour that was close enough. Cranks were originally Tioga Revolver, but they rusted away and I loved the Next LPs. Forks are almost the right vintage and are a recent replacement for my RC35s and need a little adjustment.

Front Derailleur: XTR
Rear Derailleur: XT with Bullseye jockey wheels

Cranks: Race Face Next LP
Pedals: XTR

Skewers: Ringle Ti Stix
Rims: Mavic rear, Wilderness Trail Bikes front

That's awesome...and quite possibly the biggest Bonty I've ever seen ;)

Does anybody know whatever happened to the guys at Global Fridge (Jez and Sarah?)

Thanks. Maybe my garden has shrunk, but I'm pretty positive the frame is just a large.

Cool, always nice seeing a new bonty :)
Like the color a lot!
You got more pictures?
It kinda looks like an XL.

A quick trip trip to the shed with a tape measures and it is indeed an XL. Well spotted bonty 98. A few picture of some of the details here too
