MY 1993 Kona Kilauea
I bought this frame to make up for not owning my 1994 Kilauea anymore, and with the intention of building it with M900 group. The frame was bought from Ebay and came from Canada hence the all one colour scheme. I paid about £17.00 plus postage. I did build with M900 as you can see below.
I was never happy with the XTR on this and ended up stripping the bike with the idea of building with LX M560. The ideal group for the year and level of the frame. I have still to add a chain and the brake bads are removed, as they were the bulky silver shimano cartrige type and will be replaced with Aztec or similar. The seat post is USE and a Re-anno, it may be chainged at some point. I will also be adding a Panaracer Smoke I have onto the rear. The paint will be re done at some point esp the rear triangle.
