Bought this beaty from another member (thank you Major22) a couple of months ago. I have almost found the parts for it and realised it was time for a little bit of resto. I received it in a quite nice condition (small paint chips sorted and everything polished by seller) but the worst damage was on the chainstays, were the paint had completely come off.

Just finished painting the chain and seatstays today. I'm quite happy so far with the result. The autospray that I bought for the job matches the frame much better than I had feared. Now I'll just have to wait about 10 days and then (maybe) some clear cote.

If that's original paint, sure it's a 1993??

Thought they were 2 tone.. the front half faded to silver..

Really like Kona... and this looks like it'll be a nice job :cool:

Yes it definitely is I also have a Titanium Green one!

Cool... which models (or variations of) weren't in the standard paint scheme for the year?
