Hello everyone

Das anyone of you know, whether this is a Trekkingbike (28“ wheels) or MTB Frame? On Bikepedia the model is listed as 1993 Alpinestars Cro-Mega D320 MTB Frame. Unfortunately without a picture

I think it is a very large 26" wheeler judging by where the brake posts are and the distance to the top of the seatstays :?

This is really confusing me, as it's a later frame/colourway, but still bares the 'croMega' moniker, which was dropped in '93 IIRC.

Still very nice in it's own right.. 8) 8)

I think it's a 26" wheeler, but an absolutely MASSIVE one.

Did AlpineStars make gates, then? ;)

It's in the '93 cat, it would of had an Exage groupset and 26" wheels. Very much an entry level cro-mega with just the D220 altus equipted bike below it. Nice to see one though.

The frame should arrive next week. I’ll post more pics as soon as I get the frame.

Happy trails from sunny Zurich
