I figured since I've already told enough people about this build I should finally start a thread for it. :)

No real backstory to this one...I've always wanted an Ultimate and this one came for sale (in my size mind you) a little while ago. The previous owner was a production manager at Yeti until shortly before the buyout. He had the frame and forks powdercoated, but hadn't built it up since the refurb. Also included were the ferrules, seat clamp, and the cro-mo FTW stem.

Immediately after I bought it I contacted Gil for the decals and luckily he had them on file. As always, he came through and did a fantastic job.

I'll divulge the parts list as I progress through each step of the build, so for now here are pictures of the frameset as I received it, and after applying the decals and pressing in the 1 1/4" King no logo headset:

Perfect colour for that frame.

Watching with interest. Are you going with fluro yellow Accutrax and Hyperlites??
