Fat Chance Yo Eddy 1993 Finally UP!!!!!!!!

Dhphat

So this is my 1993 Yo Eddy, that had the usual seattube/ BB area Fat issue. So living in New England, I had Chris Igleheart cut out the old one and weld in a new lower seattube. It was then re-sprayed by Toby at Hottubes, who actually had a drawer full of Fat stickers to my surprise, so these are NOS stickers.

I've had this built for a while, and was about to post it, when i saw Defiants(?) Serrotta for the first time, and realized that this & that were somewhat similar, so i figured I'd let people forget about that bike for a while, and i finally got around to doing it today.

Sweet build Andy!!! Glad you finally got around to posting this.

I like the Sunset rims, but not on this they seem a little out of place. That and I'd change the bar tape that you used on the chainstay, just go black. It attracts to much attention.

That's really rather nice. Just enough bling to highlight but not enough to veer into bad taste.

That was the goal, I wanted it to have that bling look but not end up looking gaudy, and over the top.

cooooool

It's very balanced looking

Although colour-wise it has a lot going on!

It strikes you eye as looking right... then if you're me you thing how?

I got it! No one item is in isolation

Cables/saddle/twist grips

Red ano, just the right amount sexy rear mech...

Gold rims... Gold always works with black and it picks up with the fork bridge scripting

And black? You can't go wrong with black - everything goes with black

It's luvvvverleeee

Thanks for the kind words.

That looks ace! Nice amount of white and red but still not distracting from the overall look and doesn't overpower the frame

Cheers.
