Hi,
Well, this is been the easiest build ever... I just bought the whole bike to RB member legend, thanks mate!!
Hard to believe you can still find things like this, kept storaged for about 20 years
I took it out of the box, and just had to put air in to the wheels, everything worked fine!
First a 1990 brochure:

Nice find m8! Liked the colour! You must be proud of it!

Congrats on the blog too!

Saludos desde Brasil!

Very very cool. I like all the little frame details like the RD routing through the u-brake boss and stay supports curved to match the wheels. Super nice!

Been a long time since I've seen a non-faded XT seatpost too!

Superb example of a very nice bike. Congrats with your purchase!

It is odd every time you encounter never moved Vintage bike. Makes you wonder what people motivated to buy them back in the day or what hapened. Of course with NOS bikes it is simple. They were in storage as part of a bizz' inventory, but I several times encountered bikes in new condition and that were actually owned by people. A bike of the same make I encountered a couple months ago >> 1980 Koga FullPro-L

There have been 3 e-stay RidgeRunners:

1990 model :

With Tange Switchblades fork

1991 model :

KogaRR800.jpg

With OS headtube and Miyata BigChamp fork

1992 model :

1992RidgeRunner800.jpg

With OS headtube and burly bonded aluminum Miyata FatMax fork

Pricey bikes back in the day. Dreambikes for many.

The Koga-Miyata edition Rolls needs some black leather paint. It faded a bit through the years.
