Picked this frame up when VRC member "Joe Steel" contacted me and said he was looking for a buyer last spring. Had been to busy putting together a steel Avalanche collection to do anything with it until now. With rainy weather this weekend I decided this would be the first to do in the Bravado collection. I've got a mint 94 Bravado LE done and also a 93 Team Scream Bravado LE frame thats been well ridden and this 92 was looking like the easier of the two for a quick build. Had most all the parts and wheels so here's a few pics from start to completion.

Most of the Bravado's that you see from 1992 are yellow. This red was the optional color. Enjoy!

That is really nice :D Never seen a red Bravado before, looks to be a pretty large size, no? My guess is 20"?

What were the factory specs for a 92 Bravado?

Yes it's a 20" The only thing on this that isn't to OE spec is the tires.

Nice machine....

My team scream jobbie is coming on well... no funny reactions on the paint. Will post progress soon.

Very nice. I had a 92 Bravado in yellow and wasn't aware it was available in red.
I remember seeing various colour options for the 92 Psyclone but not for the Bravado.

Spot on with the factory spec, just as I remember it, although didn't it come with onZa bar-ends originally too?
And you've mentioned the tyres I know. They would've been 2.1 Smokes.

Another vision of loveliness gm

What's one of those seats fetching in good nick these days, do you know??

One of those could be the crowning glory on my GT. . . .

Yes and I have barends but bikes with barends tend to get bashed here...not sure why seemed as everyone had them back then. I had a fresh Smoke and Dart but they went on a Team Scream Psyclone I'm about to unvail.

. Depends, the past two I picked up on BIN's within minutes after they were listed. I've paid as little as 15 and as much as 75 for NOS. Velo has one out in the Regal style shape that's targeted at the fixie market. Have seen them new around 19-24 on eBay
