Mount vision reborn and finished

marin man

Old School Grand Master
I killed my mount vision a few weeks ago to put the original parts back on my scott

I am now starting to build it again but am going red white and blue

For white read silver ;)

Anyway pic below and there is no real rush and it will not be an expensive build either...............hopefully

Anyway I have;

mount vision mark 1 n.o.s this year
xtr m950 bb
blue chris king headset
red kcnc stem
black thomson elite post
red titec kti beserker (mega rare)

That is all for now but if anyone has any coloured parts that may be suitable pm me,but must be cheap ;)

Blue chris king hubs for about 50 quid would be a good start ;)

I'm looking forward to this build. I'm about to start building a 90s full susser and one of these is top of the list. I just need to find a decent example of a frame.

It used to look like this...below

but the parts have been put back on my scott and my klein so the frame was just sitting there and almost got sold but after ten years of wanting one I could not sell it  and it is totally unmarked so I am thinking that it will get all ano parts as above and then wheel with ti-dye spokes and some carbon hubs etc.

I love the Spinergys on the other Marin. But a lovely hand built set of hope hubs in some dark ceramic rims with a cool snowflake spoke pattern would be awesome!

Thanks,I am quite pleased as it weighs only 22.4lbs and Rider,as I will use it to go to work everyday, and when I get the knobblies back on then it will go off road as well

Yes better than the klein, still sad to see the old girl go though as it was a lot of work putting it together
