bought this from a nice bloke in perth
via the bay ,phoned and made arrangements to collect it he then told me he had some more bits for it that he would let me have ,at no cost
so friday arrives and i get wifeys mota and of we go
25 mins later i meet james ,real nice bloke ,just clearing out as he'd bought a new giant "here i'll give you this ,theres brakes bars and pedals in there"
he hands me a carrier bag ."thats the wheels there too " he then says
jeez i pull a 20 out of my wallet and say take this ,he says no so i hand it to him anyway (already paid thru payall for the frame )
as it arrived

so a couple of hours in the shed this afternoon
between hedge trimming
i got it rideable quick whizz up and down the garden ,seems okay
so will get it out tomorrow for a shakedown ride
gonna change the bars ,levers, front wheel

one thing that puzzles me is why has it got 3 s logo's on the seat tube
and why is the paint under the blue ,red ?
frame number starts 91 ,is that the build year ?
thats 3 things ,i know

wheres the 3rd triangle ? have you posted the wrong picture or something ?    looks nice mike ;) mind you , all your bikes do

Thats really nice.

Hand on a minute......

on a.....what do you call them......Generalized isnt it??

Once you've had a proper ride I GUARANTEE that you'll class it as the best bike you've ever ridden.

its quite nice , climbs well but not as good going down as my astars
or gt's ,think a change to wider bars will help
bloody presta valves need changed ,one works fine other one is a
complete **** to inflate ,ironicaly the good one is stuck in the rim
and will need surgery to remove it ,so i swapped it out for a ringle hubbed
wheel i had spare ,just need to change the back one now
need an 8 speed block instead of the jigged 9 speed one on at the moment
some more pics

for the life of me...I'm still trying to figure out why there are so many bikes posted on here with 400mm seat posts sticking along way out of the seat tube with the saddle noses angled down. Do you folks love riding with all that weight sliding forward on to your hands and wrists? Keep it up and you'll regret it as you get older.
