Bought this from a mate of AndyR's, it arrived last week so I thought I'd get a few pics up.

It's in very good original condition, the paint is in great condition and still very bright - the pics don't do it justice - (why is orange so hard to take pics of?).

Not got many plans for it, will probably powder coat it white and S/S it.....

Not really :!: :evil:

Just going to;

Give it a good clean, re-grease & polish
Replace the rear DX Cantis with some none 'tweaked' ones
Get the large chain ring re-annodised (in the platers now)
Replace the bars with a nice set of X Lite 535 straights (also in the platers getting a new annodised black coating) and bar ends that I've had waiting for a nice UK bike to go on.
Replace the IRCs with some FJ Nephews.
Replace the decal on the stem that was removed at some point when it was re-sprayed.

Not ever had a 'survivor' before so i'm keen to keep it as original as possible.

Sorry about that - I deliberated for a while but decided that they don't come up like this very often and went for it - dibs noted. :D :wink:

Should really start a thread of my own, but this is newly built up and after putting a few miles on it, i'm extremely pleased. Compared to my modern front suspended Sanderson Life all this has is really heavy steering. Just got hold of a replacement headset to see if that cures.
