91 Avalanche. I've had this frame hanging in the basement for a couple years and have been on a mission to build up the older steel Avalanches. I had most of the correct parts to get it put back together. Can't seem to find the paint-to-match stem that i got with it but will get that on when it decides to reveal itself.

Has a flip flop just all black....I'll find that missing paint to match one of these days. It's in the basement shop somewhere.

edit - sorry 'original' flip flop.

oh and a quick cheeky question.
you wouldn't have a black xt u brake in your deep pockets would you?
happily swop it for $$ or the silver one i have. for my karakoram rebuild

Lovely bike - my favourite GT - because it's the one I used to go and look at in the shop every Saturday.

Don't understand why some dis the Avalanche, lovely bikes and GT's had some great details in the early 90's, the TT was a bit gimicky IMO but the flip-flop stem and adjustable forks were cool ideas.

Carl.
