Looks like its a very rapid bit of kit - a real riders bike - I bet you need those V's to stop it!

The stem is awesome. :D

Nice one you made, some very shimy parts. Looks strange tho mountingbolt on the stem...:).
Only the red v's and pedals make it look a bit clownesque.

I am not a Pace expert but can there be mounted canti's on these forks anyway? Or should it be rebuild or something?

You mix all the years on your bike: red DX BMX brake with a 90 frame !.
But the green color of that rascal is amazing !

no problem mounting cantis on the rc35s.. you just need a rocker for the back of the fork.

I Know, i'm on the lookout for a set of XTR v's front & rear & some XTR SPD's to tone the colour down a bit, the frame is plenty bright enough!
I;ve never been a fan of canti's really, i used to catch them with my heels all the time.

The bars will be changed back to flatties as well, the syncros bars ride well enough, but i prefer the look of flats.

The cranks were supplied new to me directly from Cook bros in 1994 as a warranty replacement after getting nowhere with evolution imports at the time.

I have thought about getting the stem machined to countersink the bolt to give a neater look, but have resisted altering it from standard.

That 105 is a tasty looking mech.. is that traditionally used on roadies?

Yes, it is a roadie mech, i've used it with a 12-28 casette & upto a 49t pace ring with no probs.

soon to hit the classifieds, along with the F&R DX brakes & levers!
