Liked the bike, didn't like the brakes. So, this:

i think it is fair to say that the brakes on this bike are the best mechanical brakes you can get. They have a non-linear response so as you pull more on the lever you get more braking power. They have great feel and optimal feedback and modulation. They are very stiff so they are very unlikely to fade as well.
 
Really cool bike :cool: BTW, your living room is even cooler. :shock: Like it a lot.
 
What the heck are those brakes ??
...and how do you get so many bikes in your home !!!! I'm guessing you're not married, 'cos my wife would have sacked me from being husband if we had a room full of bikes ;-)

They are one-off brakes, made or customized for this project. Going on a decade of marital bliss. :D
