Stunning!!!

I badly wanted one of these back in the day, but the frame cost about 4 times as much as the car i was driving at the time!

I like that a lot though :D

£1250 frame only
£1750 with full XT

you had a cheap car

Very beautiful bike, with the black XT groupo, and the RS1…
As interesting as your avatar… It's difficult to choose between the avatar an the bike !
Does the RS1 works well? I've got one and I want to restore it, but I don't know f the "O rings" are the same as a mag21…

the fork decals are repro's,

Was gonna get some real ones from't states with the paul turner lettering on them but they were pricey and I was skint at the time, never mind got these decals cheap from this site and they look good enough.

The RS fork was fine about 6 months ago when it got serviced last but it obviously needs looking at again so I can't really comment on how good (or naff) they are at the moment 24pouces.

Black XT was quite limited stuff, saracen had a taste for black stuff on thier ranges and the top end carrera quattro had black chainset, canti's & hubs too.

took a long time to find it though, hardest to find was the rear hub

I also have black dx stuff on my saracen trekker
