Here is my Holdsworth (well follow the link). I bought it at a car boot sale a few weeks ago but I have no infomation about it. I have browsed the internet with nothing else found. I haven't even found another Holdsworth Mountain Bike anywhere. I know Holdsworth make a lot of road bikes and sponsered the British team a while back. I filled up the Gallery allowence so please follow the link to Photobucket.

Any infomation would be greatly appericiated.
 
I remember seeing some low end holdsworth mtbs before but never anything with a deore group.

It is a while since anyone metioned these as they are quite rare. Here is my recently acquired practically unused example with which I am most delighted.
I'd be interested if anyone has any knowlege of these whether past or present. I am guessing this one is is an 88 looking at he equipment, but the seat looks to be a later upgrade.

what tubing is it? 531?

get some nice tyres on it, maybe a nicer sadlle and bingo
 
I assume it is 531 although there is no sticker, which is why I would like anyone with any knowledge of Holdsworths of this era to confirm. What's more, although the parts are quite good, the frame decals do appear not as good, almost home made! Curiously the colours of the frame and decals are very similar to my Saracen Tufftrax of the same period.

I'll keep the original Vee Rubber tyres for now but a set of amberwalls would set it off. I have a comfy Avocet Gelflex to put on it which may be ugly, but I can put up with ugly if it does not give me arseache.
