Slick build Felix.

Not heard of Maroné. Any more details on the frame and brand?

Here are a couple of informations, which I got so far.

The company stills exists in Salzburg, Austria but they do not build bikes anymore. Gerhard Zadrobilek won the 1994 (?) World Championship on a "Maroné Kampfmaschine". Red Bull was a former sponsor. The price of the '92 model (with xtr-groupset) was 3.000,- €.

This bike is extremely rare.

I know three existing Maroné bikes in Germany. This one is for sale. The seller is Olli from IBC http://www.mtb-news.de/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=46

Black Beauty!

The name 'Kampfmachine' leaves no doubt were it is intended for. To crush competition :twisted:

A mean thing

@felixdelrio

Did it originally have black spokes?

I'm loving the blackness of the bottom half; very cool!
