I got this a few years ago, when I was working in Italy. The company I worked for had 30-40, and many of them where being scrapped, so I rescued one. They were badged as Raleigh Beach Cruisers, but I don't know where they were made. It came with steel wheels and 5 speed SIS gears.
I had it repainted, change the wheels to DX and single speeded it. Lovely brakes from this forum (a karma item) and Scwalbe Road Cruiser tyres.

Its heavy, but then it only ever gets used for going to the shops and the school run.
