I'm renovating this old Hardrock Cruz I bought a couple of months ago, and have a couple of questions, if anyone can help. I think the year is 1992 and the colour Mother of Pearl (Perlmutt???) based on catalogues in the gallery. Am I right on this, and does anyone know of a pearl white aerosol paint that can be used. I don't want to spend too much on it and am looking for a very similar colour that will allow me to mask off the decals and retain them. I've seen a spray acrylic paint that is used on model cars, but am not sure if it will be hardwearing enough, even with a clear enamel topcoat. Can you even use an enamel topcoat over an acrylic base colour?
